Hi everybody.

Well, I went to begin to read and attempt to vote in the DH Awards and decided that a spreadsheet would really help me keep track of it all.  I'd intended to add in things like pairings/characters and length of stories so that I (and others who might want the spreadsheet) could use it to manage all the fic reading, but, alas, that part isn't done yet.

So.

Here it is so far.  I've left the spreadsheet open for editing to anybody who has the link.  I did this so that nominees and nominators could pop in and fill in those blanks themselves if they chose to do so.  I don't know how quickly I'll be able to complete those fields of additional information, but I'll try.  Please feel free to make a copy for yourself if you'd find it useful in keeping track of your reading and voting.  All I ask is that if you do fill in additional fic information into those blank fields, that you leave that information on the public document for the rest of us to see as well.

Feel free to repost this outside the scope of my flist.

Also, I apologize in advance for any typos.  If I've made an egregious error in data entry, please correct it!  I'd be grateful.

I hope this is helpful to somebody!

ETA:  I did not yet enter the Foreign fics or the Author list.  Neither of those felt as overwhelming to me, so I entered the categories that did first...

You're brilliant! That was a lot of work; don't deny it! Congrats on the nominations! I hope they get lots of response and this community thrives.

*smooches

Thank you! It was a ton of (very brainless) work. There was no way that I was going to be able to navigate that ballot as laid out. So, I figured I couldn't be the only one!

I hope the comm thrives, too. There are tons of nominations for each category, so it'll be interesting to see how that pans out in the end. As for my story's nominations, I'm just so pleased that anybody thought of those three stories out of the gazillions that are out there. :)

*hugs

This is excellent! Thank you for putting in all that work; it's going to be extremely helpful, not just for the awards, but as a fic resource in general.

My pleasure! I'm so happy I'm not the only one who will use it! LOL

When I saw the list of nominations, I was torn between hoping that there would be a lot of stories there that I could easily skim, and looking forward to a whole heck of a lot of REALLY good stuff. Peeking as I coded (since I didn't recognize the majority of stories or authors b/c I'm such an OTPer), it's clearly the latter. Despite the overwhelming job ahead to vote, I'm thinking that's a Yay, overall. :)

My pleasure! Enjoy!

Also, mindless coding has a purpose... I had a thought for your ficlet... I'll email. :)

Thank you for this -- a better way to organize the information will make it that much easier to get through it all!

And... well, you know. *points above* *points at icon*
Right.

A not-fully-adultified human is a lot like an under-baked cake: more than a little sloppy.
