Someone tried to send me a message...

 Yesterday on gchat (not a chat request, but a request to send me a message, which I've never seen before on gchat) and no matter how I clicked and clicked "accept", the page wouldn't respond.  I didn't recognize the name, but it was between appointments and I was rushed, and I know that people's email addresses don't always line up with their LJ names.   When I reloaded the gmail page, the request disappeared and I have no idea how to get it back again.

Argh.

So if it was any of you reading this, please try again or email me at machshefa1 at gmail dot com.

ETA: It has belatedly occurred to me (because sleep has not been my friend) that whoever this person is could just as easily have emailed me since they obviously have my email address.  *headdesk

google hates you now too. It's been over a year and I cannot get google rich format to load, so no chat, no buzz. I am on windows XP with IE 7, the most popular combo of software on the planet. I and many others cannot get it to work.

The net was very slow yesterday.

IMHO google is going proprietary, or worse it's using adobe flash, which is very buggy.
