Yes, I am insane. (and it's mostly annietalbot 's fault... not the insanity, the signing up)

In truth, I'm not aiming for 50,000 words, just to finish "King of Swords" and some other projects.  I realize it's not the stated mission of NaNo, but if anybody still wants to be my buddy despite my blatant rule-flaunting behavior, I promise to cheerlead, and encourage, and play nicely with others who are writing honest to goodness novels in November. 

I know some of you already signed up and some of you were thinking about it (or planning to), but now I can't remember who did what.

Last year I wrote about 1,000 words and bailed. Maybe it was too soon. This year I am aiming for that short story bunny that has stuck with me since then - one way or another it's going down. :-) I am not sure if I will technically sign up but the buddy system is a good way to stick to my plan of X minutes/X days a week.

I know that I will have a lot of variability in when and how much I can write. But my goals are modest, and I'm hoping the group energy does the trick!
