My Gift Has Posted, and OMG... Run see it...

Seriously.  Why are you still here where there is no gorgeous artisan work to admire?  

Here is where you need to be!  Where there are pictures of the most amazing Tree of Life QUILT made for meeeeeee!  

*snuggles it close in imagination and anticipates snuggling it close in person b/c the artist said that she intends to send it to me after the reveal... BOGGLES and squees some more*

The talent, exceptional skill both in composition and execution, time, and heart that went into this piece is simply mind-boggling.  It contains central images from the story woven together and balanced just exactly right.  The fabric choices, the colors, the vibrancy and layering of the images... it's beyond magnificent.  I can only imagine (not being a quilter myself) how much love and time went into creating this piece of art.  I'm humbled and honored to be the recipient of this gift.

And it's my birthday tomorrow, so thanks to the mods as well for posting this today!

I totally am! I'm a bit overwhelmed and totally boggled. I can't wait to see it up close, either... it looks absolutely stunning in photographs and I can only imagine what it's going to look like up close.

I had noticed that, actually. I'm flabbergasted and so honored. But that quilt deserves all the attention--it's beyond anything I could have imagined as a gift. It's stunning. :) And I'm delighted (but not surprised) that the reviewers are as blown away as I am by the artistry!
