Proof of my insanity

The SSHG Exchange bunny is proving to be more than a little recalcitrant.  I've tried approaching it quietly.  I've given it chocolate.  I've tried singing to it.  I've snuck up on it from behind and thrown a sack over it's fuzzy little head.

The shotgun comes next.  I swear.

So of course it makes sense for me to sign up for the snuna_exchange , right?  The deadlines are, after all, days apart from one another. That'll work.  My luck, the next bunny will shack up with the first one.

I've signed up for three fests with close-together deadlines, too. I'm already starting to panic; what on earth was I thinking? But then again, I've done this sort of thing before, and lived, and I'm usually pleased once the stories are actually written.

I've never done more than one fest at a time. And I also have a WIP that I'd like to finish sometime... And yet. I was so happy with my Snuna last time -- surprised and pleased. I wonder if writing for more than one fest will confuse the bunnies in a good way and they'll cough up the stories :D

There is no way I could do more than one fest/exchange at one time. With the way my luck tends to run (I did Hermione Fuh-Q-Fest, Dyno_Drabbles and Con_Envy all at the same time) the bunnies would mutate and turn on me in a very vicious way. I'm surprised that I was able to have enough rational thought to get involved in the House Cup. Personally, I'm sticking with just the Exchange at the moment so I don't go completely insane.

I have no exchange bunnies - my warren is completely empty. :(

I'm worried about signing up for another with this one looking dire. And the Compendium. And potentially giving two papers in Orlando. And the other things I wanted to write, including the WIP that has lain fallow for well over a year.

And my Lunavoice is terrible.

I think I'll sit back again, this year, and just enjoy. Maybe next year...

Tree of Life was such a monster to write, I can't imagine... On the other hand, Annie reminded me that I sent her like 75 drafts of the scene by the lake (which originally opened the story) before I even really knew what the story was about...
