500-750 words per month is both doable (in terms of time, even knowing your layered writing process) and a nice exercise (IMO).
Given how much you have going on, perhaps the smaller bites are more manageable right now. So I'd say... no holmestice may be a good decision, unless you know something positive will be happening with your upcoming schedule.
