Well there have actually been a little blow up or two since I sometimes comment when the bias is particularly aggregious. There have been anti-atheist comments inserted into stories in such a way that makes the characters seem 1)strangely provincial 2)very American. Even commenting on this from a writing angle brought a hail of disaproval upon me. This was when my feelings toward HP fandom as a whole cooled considerably. The weird things people have written about Native Americans have, if anything, been worse.
Sort of makes me want to lock the door and turn off the computer.
