This struck such a chord with me. I think it's natural in any relationship for each partner to have their ups and downs, and what a tremendous struggle it can be when those cycles are off. But, man, it's bad enough having a down spell when your partner is, you know, NOT superhuman.

I love that John is envious for Sherlock here but he doesn't begrudge him his energy, his incandescence.
